RADIOACTIVE FUN!
Reactor is a community made map designed for competitive wingman mode. Its layout is unique and it supports both fast paced and slow tactical gameplay. Terrorists have broken into the D.L.A.G. power plant facility to blow up the fuel rod storage to cause the biggest nuclear explosion in history. Counter-Terrorists are here just in time to prevent the catastrophy. Who will win? Grab a couple of friends and find out!
The bombsite is the main point of action. Its big and carefully designed to give terrorists multiple tactical options. There are four entrance points to the bombiste. Right from the beggining Counter-Terrorists control two of them. Terrorists control only one of the entrances. Both teams can fight for the last and most powerful entrance. The bombsite itself has little hiding spots, encouraging terriorists to either fight or use their utility to plant the bomb. Floor is made from multiple surface materials to allow for easier footstep allocation.

The ramp room is another point of interest for both teams. If a team decides to take control of this room they usually have to sacrifice bombsite control early on. But control of ramp gives the team access to the most powerful entrance to the bombiste - catwalk. Terrorists also have an option to backstab unaware Counter-Terrorists if they decide to sneak trough the outside area.

The outside area is the most memorable part of the map. Originally this area used to be an uninspired storage room that made navigating around the map harder. Now it is a bright modern outdoor area. Generally there wont be many fights here so players can enjoy the modern architecture of D.L.A.G. power plant.

Ventilation is the riskiest area in the map. Terrorists can commit into the ventilation trough a one-way drop. Close quarters combat here is perfectly suitable for shotguns and SMGs. Counter-Terrorists can attempt to counter boost themselves to surprise unaware Terrorists.

The look of this map is heavily inspired by another CSGO map - Nuke. Its textures and props are simplistic and allow for good visibility around the map.





Reactor has been the biggest mapping challange for me so far. The goal of this map was to create an unique wingman experience that encouraged a bit more tactial and smarter play than usual. Almost every map I have been working on was abandoned in the detailing stage. Detailing still isn't perfect but I gave it my best. This is the first map I have taken seriously and pushed myself to finish it. I am excited to finally release this map and present it to the public.
